Weekend Shots - May 4th 2015

Did some birding on the weekend and got a couple of shots.

I'm calling this a Hammond's and not Dusky because the only bird calling at the time we saw this bird was positively ID'd as Hammond's (same perch and bird as John Gordon's i believe).

On Friday i hot up Cypress and got lucky with a brief encounter with a Townsend's Warbler, one of my fav local warblers.

nice to get some more looks at Rufous at Maplewood as well.

Iona on Saturday was pretty good for swallows, saw 5 species on the wire by the water with Colin (from the forum).

Too bad we never saw a Bank Swallow, still need that one for the list, one of these days..

Blackie Spit was also hit up on Saturday morning but there wasn't much, other than these Western Sandpipers on the spit.
