I checked out the action two times, first time i only had 15 minutes before the fog rolled in but getting some shots made up for spending the first part of the morning at QE park looking for the Hoary Redpoll, at the wrong pond
Never did get that bird even after trying at the right location another time..
missed it by that much.
Second attempt at Burnaby Mountain there were more photogs working the birds but i got my best shots ever of the species in better light.
It was nice to see a few familiar faces that day as well
