We are going to miss Pip but he will be going to my mom's during our trip and will hopefully have some fun there.
He is as much a birder as i am i think.
He doesn't miss much and often see's the birds that come to our feeders before i do.
Of course Pip always does his bird-watching from inside and the birds never have anything to fear, not like they pay much attention anyways, something that irritates our cat sometimes LOL.
He has a pretty good Lifelist going and can count Black-capped Chickadee, Dark-eyed Junco, Spotted Towhee, Song Sparrow, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Steller's Jay (his nemisis bird) and lately Varied thrush.
at my mom's he has the chance to add to his list, Winter Wren, Downy Woodpecker and even Pileated Woodpecker are sure bets so i'm happy for him.
