Khao Yai - Life in a Blind

Next we went with my friend Alex Vargas to Khao Yai NP to hopefully shoot Coral-billed Ground-Cuckoo. We arrived at the same spot in the jungle that we visited in `08 and saw quite a few of the same birds with a few new ones as well. By the way, we spent 11 hours in the blind, super tiring!

Orange-headed Thrush (Zoothera citrina)

Hainan Blue Flycatcher (Cyornis hainanus)

Puff-throated Bulbul (Alophoixus pallidus)

Plain-tailed Warbler (Seicerus soror) - possibly

Siberian Blue Robin (Luscinia cyane)

White-throated Rock Thrush (Monticola gularis)

Coral-billed Ground Cuckoo (Carpococcyx renauldi)
